About me DETAILS: Always living life to the fullest unless it’s nap time. United States Air Force Reservist, Full Time Corporate Girly, Mami to Levi, and Military Spouse to Abe.

So let’s really jump into this before it gets too awkward for me. I grew up in a small town in North Texas. If you’ve read my interview with Voyage Magazine then you know the details of my backstory. If you haven’t read the magazine article I highly recommend you do for more context to my “About Me” (Link Below) For me growing up in a small town i came from humble beginnings. I also grew up in a MIXED & BLENDED Family there was alot added to the equation of my childhood. One thing that was consistent was all the UnPolished advice and experiences I had over the years. When I turned 18 I joined the United States Air Force right out of high school. I would be a FLAT OUT LIAR if I told you I had major support on this decision. Growing up a few miles away from an Air Force Base in a Pro Military town you may be asking how could you not have all the S U P P O R T in the world? Well I’ll put it to you like this my family would have rather seen me live a more traditional life. They thought my decision was seen as absolutely LUDICROUS and IMPOSSIBLE. After I graduated from the U.S. Air Force Basic Military Training there were alot of tears and “I’m so proud of you! I could have never done this I can’t believe you did this baby!” So now 17 1/2 years later traveling all over the world thanks to the Air Force and my hard earnings I’ve been to over 25 countries and have lived on 3 different continents. It’s been a great R I D E. I currently live with my family in Denver, Colorado. We’ve called the Mile High City home for the last t h r e e years but not for much longer. As I entered my 30s my life has changed so much juggling a family, both of my careers, and motherhood. These days I’m in romanticizing my suburban life while living out my dream of working in a metropolitian area in a big HIGH RISE Building. M-F, I can be found commuting back and forth between downtown Denver and the burbs while juggling trying to be the best millennial mom to my son. My weekends are for squeezing in a HOT GIRL WALK because MIJA I have a high pressure job and I’m constantly decompressing from it. Also, skincare, finding new healthy junk food, trying out gourmet recipes while channeling some WELLNESS moments. So, at this point you’re probably wondering what’s going on with this B L O G and why U N P O L I S H E d? iT’s called UnPolished because who is really living a Perfectly Polished L Y F E? If you do..congrats you’re a liar. lol Growing up my family always shared their UnPolished and Unfiltered views on life with me. It’s UnPolished because over the years that’s what I’ve become known for is my UnPolished points of view..if you ask me for my opinion take it or leave it I’m going to let you know. You know what I’ve learned too? People appreciate that method to life way more. My MISSION is to write my UnPolished view on my life. Romanticizing your 30s, talk about careers, my latest luxury obsessions, health&wellness, motherhood, and sharing my experiences from my 20s. Now everything will have a permenant digital space for you to refer back to! So Besties, grab a Raspberry Poppi on NUGGET iCe put on some LOFI Music and your favorite pajamas and let’s hang out!!!
