HELLO New Chapter

In case you’re new here we’re a Military Family and my Husband is Active Duty. In 2021 my husband received an assignment to go into Air Force Recruiting. During this time we were both working and living in Germany. Our son was only 2 years old so life looked very different back then. That summer we found out we would be moving to Denver, CO and we could have not been more excited! We both had been talking about moving to Denver for a long time and getting orders here felt like a dream at the time. Then we realized how much our lives were about to change. Especially getting a toddler to adjust after living overseas his entire life at the moment. We also had to make the ultimate adult decision to buy our first home and in the housing market post Covid!!! So, before we knew it we were packing up our two bedroom German Apartment that was our first home as a family and we put my husband on a plane to go to recruiter school while I stayed behind with our son to finish up my business in Germany. We have been calling D E N V E R home for the last 3 1/2 years. To be honest we weren’t planning on leaving until much later in the year but you know we make plans and the Military laughs. JaJa Reflecting on the photos below we have gone from our German apartment packed up in boxes to seeing my husband graduate from recruiting school to being first time home buyers it has all been such a ride! I also added some of our favorite memories we’ve made while living in Denver. So this is it besties, we’ll be enjoying our last Summer in Colorado for now at least!!

Oh and we will find out where our next assignment is s o o n ish.
